well according to that site, we have made £14,974,000 PROFIT on player sales since the 82/83 season. Not bad really considering we are such a small club. Also, i never realised we spent 1mill+ on so many players.

Allan Nielsen, I am sure he was the first one we paid over £1 million for £1.5M if memory serves!

We spent nothing like £1.1m on Buckley. The total fee was £300k, and much of that is dependant on apps, promotion etc.

H was brought for 1.5 million

    Nielsen cost 2.5 million!

Mind you they at least were worth the money unlike our record signing.

Remember David James was sold for a million then Paul Furlong paid for the new Rookey stand.

As for Travner..does anyone really know what happened there as he hardly got a place on the bench?

At least no-one has mentioned Chimbonda - he is a total disaster, and someone thought he could do a job at left back - for us!!!!!

I just wish the mods would censor some posts!!! LOL

Yes Neilson and H were good signings, and Wooter was a bit of a waste of £900k.

I always thought Trevor Senior was a horror at £325k, that was big money at the time.

One player buys the Rookery - you would've sort of hoped our "50m quid" promotion in 2006 might've bought us a new East development...
