Can you imagine an English journo asking those sort of questions?

And many players being able to answer them?

It shows the huge gulf between the technical, thorough managers like Poch and the man management only managers like Redknapp.

Even when we do get a technical manager, they turn into Big Sam or Martin O'Neill (nearly English) who treat it as a percentages game.

Very interesting and full of details about Mauricio's style. We are lucky to have Morgan...hope he gets a call up some day...he deserves it. I also like the translation (though French to English appears to be easier than Italian or Spanish to English). West Ham apparently a mad crazy face team :)

What an intelligent article and how articulate a player. I won't hold my breath waiting for anything similar in our sports press. Even the adulatory articles of recent weeks have been either largely formulaic and repetitive or rumour-mongering and speculative. Top marks!

It's a real shame our sports/football writing does not compare. The BBC sometimes gets close to have interesting debates, but then end up getting too concerned they're becoming too geeky and tactical and end up moving on to a more inane subject like banter in the dressing room or which manager is next for the chop
