Don't know what you mean by growing up and taking it seriously ... I just think that it's difficult for him to settle into games coming on as a sub which seems to be the case most of the time but hopefully he will be given a fair chance and a run of full games this season. I'd love nothing better than to see him come good and just like Georgios Samaras and Scott Brown, prove the doubters wrong.
If 'emigration' means leaving a country or place and 'immigration' means moving to a country or place ... does 'imagration' mean not having a clue whether people are coming or going?
EC, i just hope he is not one of those players to not realise his full potential. You dont play the way he played with Hooper and not have something.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...utation-for-attending-IRA-memorial-event.html This is why it was mentioned. But you knew that and want to pick over the bones of it I`ll pass.
Wrong. I know very much what I am talking about. The last time you made assertions about what It was I did and didn't know, you made a gaping **** of yourself. This will go the same way.
It beggars belief that any Celtic fan who claims to know the history of his club would think that Irish nationalism had anything to do with the foundation of his club . It also demeans the efforts of the founders who's selfless work for the poor in Glasgow has been hijacked by the politically inept . Same can be said about Rangers . #****theinterlopersgiveusourclubsback
I agree and I think he just has to find his new role now that Gary Hooper has gone. He lived in Gary Hooper's shadow yet helped him with some very clever assist play ... would be great if he came into his own now or can link up as well with one of the new bhoys.
I would urge you to read what I actually wrote. Then I would urge you to apologise, then I would urge you to revisit post #42.
No. I had no idea why something so utterly irrelevant from 8 months ago was brought up today. Stokes thinks of his dead mate. Big ****ing deal, he isn't responsible for what his mates did or didn't do.
I don't know the ins and outs of this and have no wish to stir the whole hornet's nest up again but a question: If the deceased was a friend from boyhood could it not have been the case that Anthony Stokes was merely paying his respects as a friend and not necessarily making any statement whatsoever as to his politics or whether he agreed with the deceased's actions or otherwise ... could the media not then simply have stirred things as usual with the most controversial angle they could come up with and the ever-gullible public in general swallowed it?
Thanks BAD - I can see what you're saying but I think the 'favours' are merely those that kowtow to the media and the Establishment in general and sometimes they need to be stood up to and basically told to get stuffed - isn't it reminiscent of the days when Celtic and it's supporters were expected to lie down to all that was thrown at them?
