I wonder how long it'll be until people actually do take us seriously, I'd take 37 games in when we've comfortably stayed up
Just had a look at their post match comments. So ungrateful in defeat, we are described as a shower of ****, **** and general descriptions like awful. They seem to really over rate themselves as they think they should have walked over us
I think they were right in the first half to be fair. We weren't at our best today, but still deserved the win.
We bossed the second half. Stoke might have had more shots and more possession, but in that first half I can't think of a proper save Hamer had to make. Possession, in particular, means nothing, especially in the Premier League.
I was actually more concerned in the second half, despite our increased possession, as they countered quickly... but countered even quicker (hence the goal).
My sister used to live in Stoke. Then she moved to Bolton. Now she's in Nottingham and I see her most days. God, I miss her living in Stoke.
Saying we were a shower of s**t and w**k in the first half is being kind to us . We were dreadful we really were. Almost embarrassing . Thankfully it was a different story 2nd half
We were overrun and outmuscled in midfield in the first half which meant Schlupp, Mahrez, Nuge and Leo saw very little of the ball ... by sacrificing Riyad and bringing on both Cambiasso and Drinky we then matched them for numbers in the midfield battle in the second half but out matched them on guile and creativity ... we definitely looked more threatening than they did going forward in the second half ... and they found it difficult to get the ball from us when we got possession - some lovely short passing and movement ... we also showed that we are more than able to cope with the physicality that a side like Stoke bring ... very good 3 points and gives us confidence before we have to face LVG's luxury hamper of random eexpensive purchases next week ...
I'd like to say that we deserved a draw, but some games will go like that, 1 shot on target .... 3 invaluable points ... we're 4 points ahead of where i thought we'd be at this point!
