a tangent but i can't understand why alex neill left sunderland for stoke? sunderland seem to have way more potential was the wage increase huge?
I had the same problem with IFollow as a result I contacted them via their Chat service. They told me it was a problem at Stokes end and also that I should use the Ifolow App on my Phone or Tablet. I did that and it worked fine. You may want load the app on your phone or tablet if you have not already just in case it happens again.
Don't mention rolling contracts on here, it invites about 500 posts on what a rolling contract means! And they're all different.
It all boils down to the fact he moved for improved terms. Doesn't seem to have done the Mackems any harm though.
A solid point yesterday….we never looked in any real danger apart from the first twenty minutes or so,and if Connelly buried that chance second half we would have gone on to a comfortable win. Should have kept Tufan on,as we lost some fluency in midfield when he went off and I think it was probably the wrong game to throw Ebiowei on,given his lack of fitness and senior football this season. Jones my MoM yesterday, never put a foot wrong and made Ingram’s afternoon very comfortable indeed. First visit to Stoke…the away concourse looked small when I got in and by half two was absolutely crammed, with over half of it full of the pyro brigade chucking plastic bottles and letting off smoke bombs…The Stoke stewards were all huddled in the vomitaries checking tickets and apparently confiscating flags..proper jobsworths some of them. The minutes silence was impeccable..great to see those who managed to get past the stewards with their flags displaying them, saw a couple of Turkish national teams shirts too. Think I heard the home fans sing once in 90 minutes….
When Shota was dismissed only nobody in the entire football league had conceded more goals than us. We had the worst defensive record in the county.
It's strange because we weren't getting beat by 4+ goals, but we were very consistently conceding 2 or 3 per game, which really adds up it turns out.
