The Sentinel said earlier on that he has been ill this week but didn't say what it was. I know that his wife has been ill for the last 4 or 5 days as she's mentioned on her Twitter that she's been very ill recently but it sounded more like a nasty virus so maybe it's nothing more than Crouch's caught her virus, assuming it is a virus.
 
We don't need him, should have more than enough with Nasri, Silva, Johnson and Aguero up front...will be tough without a target man up front.

Peter Crouch was taken to hospital on Tuesday after complaining of headaches and dizziness. Left out of #SCFC squad tonight as a precaution
 
Couldn't get a working stream for the game so not watching it but sounded like offside for the first goal but I'll accept that now as we have had a lot of luck recently and it would be churlish to complain about the first goal. Just hope we don't get battered and Mancini takes pity and decides to go traditionally Italian in the 2nd half and settle for 2-0. Please Roberto you know it makes sense!! Please!
 
Sgt, somehow I can't see Mancini (or City) taking it easy in the 2nd half, they score for fun usually. I hope that it doesn't get embarassing for us because we have been playing very well of late and a thumping could affect confidence. 3 - 0 wouldn't be too bad, we were never going to get anything this evening.
