Haven't read the full story, but I wouldn't mind us keeping Deano, if we **** Shotton and Whelan off. He's still useful for breaking up play toward the end of a game, which is more than the other 2 offer. Ideally Whitehead should be on his way, with one of Palacios, Cameron or Wilson in his place, but I doubt Palacios is ever going to feature, and t'other two are stuck at FB. My main problem with him getting a new deal, is it's an excuse not to sign fullbacks, casue we've got so many CMs who can "slot in".
 
I heard this on P and G last night, not that pleased myself but, it's not a done deal is it lads? Contract ends in June and he is a versatile player. Let's hope the Brek Shea get's a place in the team, that's one less space for Deano.. IMHO better than Shotton but which player/s in the squad are not better!

We (should) be doing better than this.. Shea, SCORED for the res's this week too! Looks like Matty has some competion now. <ok>
