Been out at work all day then straight out for pizza with the kids so haven’t got a clue how we played. Will try to read this thread later. Whatever, it’s a great away point and shows how far we’ve come. Feeling so much better about our club now than i have in a long time.
I'd just heard we were 2-1 down when we equalised, a great point. England spanked the Aussies at Twickers and Scum got done at Spurs, a super Saturday...
A good away draw. I look forward to reading the reports and seek the highlights. Warmest regards from the Holy Land!
Out all day so real pleasure reading this thread..... Can't believe the turnaround since August or after Blackpool and Swansea for that matter....a bit early but we could be onto something here and we're doing it below the radar..... UR'ssssss
After seeing the highlights, I've decided that we just need 9 Angels and 1 Eze. What a second goal that was - great assist and finish. A great point that we wouldn't normally expect.
I’m happy with the result and even more happy with how have spirit and fight within our team. Credit to McLaren, his coaching staff and the players. U Rrrrrrr’s
Just seen the highlights....Great result, but slightly worried Lynch has started to book his December holiday....like the last few years
If we have a chance of promotion we will keep our players in January, if we don't we won't imho. Also Freeman will go before Eze. Freeman is out of contract at the end of next season, and not looking at moment that he will extend. Eze has a longer contract, and if he stays and plays all the way through the season he will make much more money for us (and him) at end of this season or possibly in a year. He is also somewhat intelligent. He knows anywhere he goes will not guarantee him a place yet, he knows he needs to keep playing and showing off his talents. Bet you money we sell Scowen though
I just saw the highlights, 2 great goals from Rangel, set up by Eze, but I did wonder where Rangel was for their 2nd. Looking at their chances, the McLean header that hit the post, the 2 struck off for marginal offsides, and others, I'm well happy at the end with the point. We didn't look as defensively secure as we have been lately, except also at Blackburn where Cameron was also out. Missing him it seems.
News from Mr glass half empty: 1. Impossible to tell for sure in brief highlights but our defence looked vulnerable for the first time in many weeks. These were two soft goals to give up. 2. They were wetting themselves about Eze on last nights Championship highlights. If he wasn't already on the radar of Cardiff, Fulham, etc for the January window he will be now.
I've been a bit of a Lynch defender (pun intended) so was sad to see a goal as a result of his error. Hope that was just an aberration.
