We've had similar games like that with RvP last year, and the first two games as well. (with the difference being our defense was shaky as well)
I remember last season at your place it was 1-1 and RVP came on late and scored 2 to win you the game. Today's game was like a game of chess with neither side willing to make a wrong move! Both managers happy to share the point I suspect. Wonder of Arsene had that drink after the game with TP yet?
Two ways of looking at it ... we haven't scored the last two games. We also haven't conceded. Defensively, we've looked solid. Liverpool will be the big test of that.
I meant the game at the Britannia. We had RVP, same result. All I can say is I am glad to have got this particular fixture out of the way, although I must say I had expected more of an aerial onslaught from Stoke today. Didn't materialise.
The team looked disjointed again, Cazorla was good but he was the only creative player, and it did not look like Giroud and especially Podolsky were on the same wave. Diaby was OK against Stoke, but I would much prefer Rosicky again Liverpool. We could move the ball much quicker. Gervinho was abysmal and Walcott seems to not really care any more. Defense though was brilliant. To be honest with you - the team did not look like The Arsenal we knew at all. Last year we lost Fab and Nasri, but the team looked the same even with the new guys, they just blended in. This time it is another Arsenal to me. I think we are about to change our style dramatically.
That sign is quality banter! Stoke are an interesting one. Have to credit them for playing to maximise their points, but on the other hand even their own fans don't want Pulis to play the way he does.
Revolution, That's true enough I'm one that thinks likewise! I think/I hope that Pulis is (trying) to improve our midfield and the sooner he does, the better I will feel. He will keep us up, I'm sure of it. I call it the "Sinatra sydrome" Pulis likes the team to do it his way! We do play some good football but nowhere near often enough for me personally.
