3 quarters of the front 4 are new players that haven't had much time together. They need time to gel. We played against Stoke, they had 11 men behind the ball at all times, it's a hard defence to break down, especially at their ground. Stop over reacting, the goals will come.
Like I said before, I'd be very happy to see Vermaelen in a sweeper role with Merte/Kosc as centre backs.
Seeing as you are comparing this season to last one in terms of the defensive aspect, why ignore the same comparison in attack? We did not score in our first two games last season as well. In fact in both those I can't remember a single clear cut chance, at least this time Giroud had that clear chance against Sunderland.
We were good defensively, but TERRIBLE offensively, sorry, that cancels itself out, and that's been the same old problem with Arsenal, never having a right balance. If we're good offensively, we're **** defensively, at the moment, we look good defensively, but MASSIVELY **** in attack, these have been our 2 worst attacking displays in a long long time. And as I said, judge our defence after they meet Liverpool, City, and Chelsea, then we can actually know if they have truly improved or not.
Wtf is your problem. He was acting like a prat insulting people for disagreeing with him and I called him out. Pot Kettle Mate.
We didn't score in our first 2 games, exactly, because for our game against Newcastle, we found ourselves in the same position as now, we lost our 2 best attacking midfielders, in Fabregas and Nasri, and put in an utterly dickless performance up there. Then against Liverpool, we were missing most of our midfield, Song and Gervino were both out, and we lost Frimpong to a red card, we were handicapped to score against Liverpool.
Don't worry, it's actually better when he just insults, as when he puts in his commentary, it's filled with utter nonsensical bull ****. He should never even open his mouth after all the rubbish he chatted last season, with all of his wrong predictions week after week.
Two different things. From that game, there are positives to take. They simply do not cancel each other out, They are two different aspects of the game. Stoke have caused our defence loads of problems in the past, so shutting them out means we can judge this defence and see the improvements they have made. These were not our worst attacking displays in a long long time, I gave you the example of two that were worse from last season, and we had RVP then.
I thought you put him on ignore? Why do that and still comment on what he is saying. A bit pointless.
You see, you write things that have already been addressed, that shows the failure in your arguments. So I'll just copy what I write specifically addressing this, see, you blinker brigade boys, can't argue for sh!t: But back to the point of us improving over time, I seem to recall that this was the exact same bull **** we were told last season. We had a new team, they needed time to gel, bla bla bla. Who's problem is that? Why does Arsenal constantly find itself having to field a new team that needs time to gel with each other? Why can't we just be a normal team, and rather than always rebuild, build on our strengths? That's the irony, the blinker brigade always try to tout positives, yet fail to realise the positives you're trying to tout, are a symptom of the problems. Arsenal shouldn't have to constantly start seasons with a new team trying to find itself, we need to start our seasons with a strong squad, with new players that will make it better and carry us forward, but we never do that, we take 2 steps forward, and 1 back. But hey, it's the same song again from the blinker brigade, things will get better bla bla, the fact that we always hear about how things will get better, seems to show **** we are because we always find ourselves in a situation where we have to get better. So now how about you make a point, that hasn't been addressed already, BEFORE YOU EVEN SPOUTED IT.
