Clumsy defending. Bassong could not stop himself and got too close to Walcott and his poor efforts at making it look like it was accidental was exactly that, poor. You are the first person that I have seen dispute the Walcott penalty against Wolves. Young did get clipped in that game against Villa, but his actions afterwards was hilarious and that why he got the reaction he did. Also, Young is a serial offender when it comes to diving.

The second one looks like a body check but it could be Walcott stupidly running into him because he did his usual head down and run act. We are talking about clear cut dives here. Theo Walcott does not have a twitter account. You must have dreamed that one. I am not suggesting Bassong should stop running, but I am suggesting that he was clumsy. He was already behind Walcott and therefore in a difficult position. The least he could have done was not to be so clumsy.
