I agree with some of that. We were lucky pleased rory scored (with his feet!!!!!!!!! YES he actually HAS feet!!!!!!) Begs was excellent kept us in it! Me and family SCREAMING at TV towards the end especially. Stoke didn't play THAT bad, Kenwyne seemed here there and everywhere, got around a bit, Etherington#s performance well Baggies better team, surprised at nearly even pocession. "SCUFFLES IN THE TUNNEL, BOTH TEAMS SHARED STRONG WORDS, STOKE UNHAPPY WITH OFFSIDE GOAL" SKY SPORTS JUST SAID.
It seems as though I keep repeating myself this season as i've lost count of how many times i've thought we cannot play worse than that, but then soon after we surpass ourselves. Even by our high levels of crapness, that was just awful, the football was just a disgrace, Pulis ought to be ashamed of himself. He said we were going to progress this season, and play better football, well i'm still waiting Pulis as i've seen no evidence of any improvement, if anything we've gone backwards, a long way backwards. I haven't seen dross like this since the binary season. The only chance of us staying up this season is if Begovic does it for us Well played West Brom, you deserved to win, you played us off the park, you're a MUCH better team than we are. Mind you that's not saying much, i'm struggling to think of a worse team than us in this league at the moment.

As I texted to a mate 'I would rather have a wisdom tooth out (have had two removed so far so I know about pain) YES I would rather have a wisdom tooth out than sit through another half of total s**t like that!' Oatcakes YOU are not alone mate. And here's me thinking I was the only one who wanted a rant. I am devoid of any other words I did use to describe that shower of sheeeeiiitttttteee. I NEVER thought that I would say this Oatackes but. As I am now almost over my 2nd stroke, doing well and am able to work full time, need the money too right now to be honest. I am SO PLEASED that I can NOT make the West Ham game, I have to work. It's much less stressful for me to be honest. MUCH more of sitting through 90mins of that won't do my health any good.
Very bad night my observation was that WBA offered nothing in the first half and were there for the taking .Once we scored we had 10 minute spell when it looked like we could kill the game.Fuller should have come on for Jones alot earlier .The last quarter of the match WBA pressed us back and we didn't have any response.A big blunder by the REF changed the game and gave them a lifeline and then they could have had two more so i am at least grateful for a point but the display was dreadful.
Why was Pennant taken off for Whelan?! Can TP not see at this stage that we are at our most vulnerable when we sit back like that and let the opposition come at us? Especially with foul machines like Huth and Delap in the side. We were always going to concede with the amount of fouls we were giving away at the top of our own area. Fuller should have been on much earlier and why the hell did we ever sell Tuncay. Feck sake Stoke!
Yeah I feel the same about Saturday's game Potts, only want to know the result several hours after the final whistle. The alternative is for me to walk around with a face like a knackered lift for most of Saturday, not fair to the family. Just don't understand how: 1. They can play well against Arsenal away and then fall apart against the Baggies (no disrespect to them) at home. 2. Why they don't kill a team off clinically when they have the chance. Think Stoke's matchday programme should come with a Govt message 'WARNING - FOLLOWING THIS TEAM CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR HEALTH' ;-) Glad you are on the mend, my father had a number of strokes. Yeah, well we were pretty awful but at least we got a point. And Pulis has said this was the plan. 3 seasons and then push forward. so let's not worry just yet. It was dreadful, but I'm looking forward to next season. it's a case of forget this game and move on
the 3 season plan is pure bullshit! It's a cloak for Pulis to keep hiding behind and next season he will be found out that he actually has no plan A, B or C. His style of play is so predictable now that every PL manager worth their salt has him stitched up like a kipper. Hodgson had done his homework last night after we stuffed his Liverpool side at the Brit and changed things to his advantage as he knew Pulis would be playing the same old now stale game plan. Pulis is negative and plays a negative game. I personally think that when he realises that he can't con people any longer he will be off to do the Wales job!
Well I don't think any team is going to fear us after last nights performance. I hope some lessons are learnt and we can cobble together the results we need. To be honest I don't fancy us for the saturday game at West ham but I think if we put the right team on the pitch ( so that's Jones on boot polishing duty) and put some work in we should be all right. Next home game we have to on the money and really up for it.
Well boys, have just watched the Stoke Player highlights and Begovic's saves were IMMENSE, particularly the last Baggy attempt, one on one with Vela. Our normally solid defence were caught totally napping, simple little dink over the top, we could have lost it once again at the death(!) but Begovic earned us the point. Total hero in my book. UTP!!
