Dare I say it - Stoke deserved that.

Hopefully it will wake us up

Louza not happy at being subbed off.

    Georgi and Kayembe on.

We'll be lucky to avoid relegation playing like this.

Good save by Stoke keeper from Asprilla shot - pushed the ball away from two unmarked Watford players in front of goal too

You could nor ask for an easier decision than that.

Shocking clearance by Bachmann - nearly gave Stoke another goal

A game of two halves - why the hell we played in our shells for the first half, I do not know. Much better second half, which we basically bossed, but still not good enough.

He certainly looked out of his depth - and don't start me on the non-penalty decision...

    Probably would have missed !

Sounded like it was a very average game settled by one goal.

Definitely need a couple of strikers now .

Yes but with their past track record maybe we can expect a couple of midfielders

I'd say midfielders were the problem today - certainly in the first half when they may as well have stayed in the dressing room.
Improved a lot in the later stages, but after Stoke scored they defended their lead too well - we really couldn't find a way past them and were shooting from range.

I was listening to 3CR, Geoff Doyle and Derek Payne said in the second half that Watford should start with Kayembe and Kone against physical teams like Stoke because Deli-Bashiri and Lousa are just not combative enough in these games
Welcome to the Championship, they also said the two young fullbacks were not strong enough or experienced enough, HARSH

The stats say it was a game we could, should have won, more possession, more shots on target and Stoke committed more twice as many fouls

Early days in the total rebuild but we need a goal scorer more than ever
