You know, each time I read about this being a home banker, I get a little bit more of a feeling that we can get something. I know it doesn't make sense. They just had a big result, probably expect to score three or four, couple of defenders out and maybe he'll rest one or two others. I still expect a defeat, but hopefully we can give ourselves a chance.
I think Pulis will show us that he is an honourable man as he realises that he owes us a lot for the charitable way that we paid his son a salary, and he will let us win! I wish
Their forum really is full of ****s, isn't it? Expecting a win is fine, I expect them to win, but come on..
We don't normally play well when the weather is bad and it's bad. We don't have the physicality to match a team like Stoke. We don't tend to play well against teams that hassle and work hard off the ball. Stoke have one of the best defensive records in Europe, are in good form and I fully expect us to loose. BUT this is football and as a blonde girl with half a shaved head once said.... anything can happen.
'Papiss Cisse and Javi Garcia are the only two visiting players to score from open play at Stoke this season' - Impressive. Good job we score our fair share of goals from set pieces then!
i'm hoping that we might get a penalty in this game, it could lead to our only chance of some points out of this game.
Sorry I expect us to loose but despite all I said I'm actually strangely confident that we could come away with something unexpected. We are not expected to get anything though so we have nothing to loose.
The players missing won't make a difference. Stoke will just bring in two other Rugby beasts. This match is a football team playing a rugby team - shouldn't go ahead. I just hope Saints escape with all their limbs intact!
