    Stoke have scored 19 goals and have 15 scored against them. We have 14 goals for and only 8 against. We seem to have a better defence, but not so good at scoring. It seems that winning 0 - 1 or 1 - 2 is possible. Lost the injury count now: all I can think of is Dowell, Hernandez, Byram, Idah and Mumba. When do the club expect Dowell, Hernandez and Byram to be available again?

    Possible team based on additional injuries to Cantwell, Rupp and Hugill.

    Krul, Aarons, Hanley, Gibson, Sorensen, Skipp, Vrancic or Tettey, Stiepermann, Buendia, Placheta, Pukki

    Struggling for subs bench: Zimmermann, Josh Martin, McGovern and Famewo

    If you look at the original squad (32 with numbers) we have sold Godfrey, Lewis. Loans for Klose, Sinani, Siri and McCullum. Injuries to Byram, Hernandez, Dowell, Idah, Mumba, Hugill, Rupp, Cantwell, McClean and Quintilla. That’s half of the squad either sold, loaned out or injured. Are there any U23 ready to step up?

    Cantwell was a late withdrawal from the Norwich City squad ahead of the Middlesbrough match and Farke revealed the midfielder will miss the next three weeks of action with a hip injury.
