Injured (if you choose to believe the limp) too. Anita - worst header of all time contender

He went from Ajax to the current Newcastle team... the poor sod must feel suicidal.

MYM is like one of these comedy players, brought in to be a figure of fun due to utter ****ness. Young Armstrong looks lively to be fair. ****ing hell I've just realised Gouffran is still on the pitch. Never a good sign <laugh>

Considering he is asked to do thing's he struggles with and could never play (under Pards) the way Ajax developed him to, he does well.

I would love to see Anita play Football, I reckon he'd prosper among a team playing good Footie.

Considering Stoke's form currently and their home record this season, we've done ok. I thought we'd get tanked. We would have if Crouch had been on a good day mind.

When we were playing passing football earlier in the season, he operated fine. No rhythm since Cabaye went and he is one of the ones who have suffered most.

We haven't developed any playing system yet, but earlier on in the season things went a little smoother, I agree with that.

Just all a bit limp today. We'll never do anything with these forwards.

WBA blown a 3-0 lead over Spurs <yikes>

I hope we're actually training the lad on a technical level, not just fixating over any physicality or lack of.

I'm expecting a rare gem from the academy here.

Such a shame we're going to have overwhelmingly bad memories of him, he had one contract too many.

To be fair we did ok today at a difficult place to go. Up front we were about as threatening as REDHOTMACKEM though. The defence did ok, not brilliant but coped decently with a new sysytem, though once again Krul made a mistake. He's had a terrible second half to the season. The midfield played well - especially Gosling and Anita - but up front we had nothing. This defeat was all about how thin and weak our squad is - especially with attacking options.

HBA did nothing to show he justifies a starting place either, so can't understand why our away support always calls for him to come on. Usually our shape disappears as soon as he appears.

I hope not. He's had some good moments for us and fair play to him for making more than anyone could have imagines out of limited ability, and doing so with his home club. His time is done, but hope we can still say thanks for the memories at the end of it.

Must say I thought we had two very clear and useful ones early in the season. Problem is both were heavily reliant on having a ball player in the middle of the park. Being brutal we lack class and quality since Cabaye left. Anita is still capable of playing that box to box tidy role, Tiote still capable of doing the destroyer role, however its all worthless unless the other bits of the jigsaw in place.

It goes back to our transfer policy and being unwilling to resource the squad appropriately. If Cabaye leaves you should have a ready made back up in the form of a young player or slightly inferior player. We have Gosling, HBA or Marveaux. All useless in terms of running a game from the centre of the park or No.10 role. Pardew is not the man to take us forward, but I doubt any half decent manager will bother because they know they'll be hamstrung by this "running lean" policy of ours.

Another thing we have seen in the last few games is just how vital it is to keep Debouchy in the summer. Does far more for the team now than a lot of us realise. It's not all about Remy being missing.

Yep we become unbalanced. Little hope of keeping him though.
