This is true. When United were relegated they struggled to fill Old Trafford. You know this as you're old.
Yeh I dare say a fair few wouldnt, but I remember we were pulling in full stadiums in division 2 while the blue half couldnt fill theirs when they went down. We also havent had any success in the last 2+ years but still selling out. That doesnt compare to what you've been through, granted. I wonder how any club would fair after that. All I can go on is what's happened to us in the past and we've always held a huge support. As for your fans, maybe you know some good ones. But if the 2 or 3 idiots who have turned up on this board out of the blue, having not been on here before, just to empty their spleens with mindless drivel, are anything to go by, they tend to reinforce the widely held low opinion of ppl from your neck of the woods. Put it this way, and I know many fans who feel this way. Despite the obvious hatred, Liverpool fans may be our fiercest rivals but at least understand the game and can banter. City fans will have that chip on the shoulder but are generally sound, willing to give as well as take, and can engage in shared history. Arsenal fans are ferrel but appreciate good football and footballers. But... you talk to most about Leeds fans and the story's the same. Clueless thugs. You'll hear numerous personal stories from City fans of kids getting beaten up, Liverpool fans being bricked at Elland Road, songs sung by the whole Leeds ground about bodies on the runway. It's just pure ignorance mixed with mindless hate. Nowt to do with football.
Maybe that's it, they have all been moved to the local school or church hall and now have access to free wifi
Completely out of order. No need to bring the deaths of people into the topic. Don't think you would be too happy if Munich was brought into it. F****** idiot.
