Predictably unpredictable City after recent performances and results and with Stoke in decent form Perfectly sums up this league
think you might be wrong our new tactic away from home is DISTRACTION ! ... EVERYTIME A PLAYER GOES TO TACKLE US ! as they get near they momentarily take their eye off the ball as they see this weird looking "graphic interpretation" of a bird leering at them from the players chest ... a masterful ploy by BCFC to bring another tactic into the game ... next they might have one that its eyes light up!???
Once we went 2-1 up we saw the game out without any scares - something we were unable to do earlier in the season. Typifies the improvement in the group
on and off various on here including me have said give the the home grown or the lesser lights a chance. VERY FEW on here gave city much chance against Stoke out of 17 forcasts 2 said win 4 said draw and 11 said lose It goes to show that a squad of such "compactness " can have results. The result will be enhanced somewhat in stature if Stoke win again and we get a draw [ at least ] on Monday!
Me too, mine are normally wrong. Besides a win is even more enjoyable when you’re expecting a defeat.
I had us down for a 3-1 thrashing-happy days a fantastic win against a very in form side on their patch.
We have 3 "hard games" coming up, made harder by those teams needing to win to secure play off's or automatic. Rotherham will be difficult as will QPR as likely need points to survive? Burnley should by the time we play them be champions! aiming for 100+points Should NP USE A COUPLE GAMES TO BLOOD / GIVE EXTRA MINUTES TO THE YOUNG PRETENDERS!
I think he’ll put out the best team available for each game. We’ll try to win every game. We have a small squad anyhow and even smaller due to injuries, so there isn’t really much scope to swap things around. Winning is habit forming so the better we can finish the season the more confidence we’ll take into next season.
I think a lot of the supposed regular players may have some points to prove for next season and that would mean them playing through to the end of this season. A blended mixture of veterans and youth may be the way but that's solely the domain of Nigel so I won't second guess him.
