And my God this is so much better than what we've been dealing with in recent years. That's what I started thinking about when I was pissed off this afternoon. Should have won that one though. I thought Stoke were terrible and still beat us. I used to think that much more often than I do now....

Really pissed off with the result yesterday and in truth not pissed off at the team.
Thought we competed well in all areas and created some good chances, then got suckered punched at the end. These things happen from time to time.
The whole game it kind of felt a bit flat don't know if it is the time of year or the changes because of injury or maybe a bit of fatigue but there was something just not quite right and I couldn't really put my finger on it. Even our fans(who have been incredible especially the last 2 months or so) seemed a little weary or maybe I just imagined it, not sure.
I hope we get back up for it for the next fixture as most results kind of went our way so we are still within touching distance and there are a lot of points still to play for.
Also can we please have a few home games now as it feels like every game is an away fixture lately (I know that's not true but just how it feels) and they all feel like big must win games.

This is exactly the kind of post that will fall foul of the new Online Safety Act and cause problems for the site owners.

There’s no place for advocating aggressive confrontations with strangers, even as 'banter', or posting a flurry of foul language. If this forum is to continue to exist posts, like this, should be deleted and the poster banned.

This is just the kind of pointless hatred and abuse that’s allowed the progress of this Act in the first place. Things have changed and this issue needs addressing quickly or we’ll all have to accept, as RTG seem to have done, that operating such a forum is more trouble than it’s worth.

Such posts, and posters, contribute nothing and have probably helped bring forums down.

The Mods need to get on top of this before it’s too late imo.

Out of those teams Smug we should get at least 2 wins, if we are lucky.

Clear as day that if we had more quality up front we would be sitting clear at the top of the table, I’m sure the coaching staff and ownership know that. Let’s see what January brings, we are still well in with a chance.

We need some of our better players back bob. The left side is a big issue. That said, it's only only to take an injury to someone else to cost us.

I've never seen such ‘security overkill’ at an ordinary Championship game as last night …

… it was so ridiculous I asked the Head Steward if they were expecting Al Qaeda.

Thats it. Been told O9 isn't good enough for a top of the table side, but he's been class most of this season.

It really isn't talked about enough, how much we lack just one of Mundle or Watson, they both allow Cirkin to play better.

100% Mundle specifically. He is also a strong boy who gets back and grafts. He is a massive miss. I know people are all Watson at the moment, but Mundle was looking class and is a big miss.

We've won half of all our 24 games this season including Burnley, Boro, Swansea, etc.

It would be a massive change to win less than half of our home games including those against the bottom three.

Had a bad feeling we’d come unstuck yesterday. The sucker punch at the end pissed me off so much I almost didn’t eat my supper.

But I did, had a glass of wine and enjoyed a lie in this morning so feeling a bit better about things.

Here’s to a much better January including a couple of quality additions, which we need to push on. Get Rigg and Mundle back ASAP and try to get rid of some dead wood in the squad.

Aye things are still good in the grand scheme of things. I'd of snapped ya hand off to be in this position at the start of the season if offered. It's always disappointing to lose to a poor side especially at the end of a game when with a little more composure we could of been out of site. As has been said we need some players back from injury and a couple of reinforcements in January and we can make a big push for the top 2 or secure our play off place. We are in a good place let's remain positive and get behind the lads for a big game new years day.

Games like this happen. Remember I think it was 33 shots against a lowly Blackpools 2. - yet they beat us 2-0.
We were a bit pleased on one other day when it went for us —. 90 minutes in our own box defending countless City attempts until. —- Ji.
