The first goal was a freak but so far the opposing midfield has been going through ours like a knife through butter. Not the first time recently.

 

I was watching it. Two terrible bits of defending. Something seems very wrong with the body language. The second goal nobody made an effort to close their player down. I have turned the game off. Will be watching Man City instead. Pathetic show.

Feels like the wheels are coming off our season. I know we have injuries and a tough run of fixtures, but the discipline & work rate has gone. We are not tracking back or marking. Basic howlers also costing us. At least 4 of our starters tonight are not good enough (GD, MG, TC and ML)

Jones obviously likes to make his subs on 60 minutes, however, when you are 3-0 down at half-time I would have thought you would make substitutions then.

Another atrocious 45 mins - NJ is going to be very hard pressed to pick any positives out of that.

It looks increasingly apparent that we have recruited badly this Summer, and that’s on NJ. It’s inexplicable that we have spent over £6m on players who can’t get a start in a side that is struggling so badly.
