Over the 90 that’s 2 dropped points notwithstanding a decent pen shout. 3 chances in the 6 yard box not converted. Stoke did nothing 2nd half. City much better without Ralls and Rhino but why was Whyte still on the pitch on 85 minutes?
I've just witnessed another half hour of that waste of space Sawyers. He came on and did nothing other than amble around the pitch - seemed totally disinterested. Agree that Whyte should have gone off earlier, but Colwill should have been on for Ralls rather than Sawyers and Etete should have replaced Whyte rather than Rhino. Harris and Etete offered some real threat up front but the service was poor. Colwill would have had the right attitude instead of that passenger Sawyers.
Still no sign of Adams. Thought he was supposed to be 'close' before the WC. If Colwill is the real deal, surely he should be the first sub off the bench, if not starting. Sawyers consistently fails to deliver.
Sawyers just looks so disinterested and dithers. NK again hot and cold. Superb ball leading to our opener but allowed Stoke first goal scorer too much room in the box. Romeo had a good game though on the other side.
Think I read that Adams now has a knee issue of some description. Really hard on him if so given he was close to fitness from his pectoral injury.
