I agree Ellewoods, to be honest if Fulham or Arsenal (because I still wouldn't rule out Mannone yet) want to piss about then we should wait and not be blackmailed. Not that I think that Bruce and the Allams would or could be pissed about by anyone. The striker issue is the key to auto promotion in my view, though I would feel a whole lot better if I knew that Elmo was ours and not a loan.
Totally agree. All those who were slagging Jak off early in the season should be eating humble pie. He's been brilliant. Why should we pay Jol 4 million for Stockdale when we already have a better keeper. We should be looking for an experienced keeper like Dukey as back up and to work with Oxley as GK coach. Money that would be wasted on Stockdale can go to bringing in a top striker. Stockdale is history.
I've seen him save a couple of low shots... He got down really well to them and its his butter fingers if anything that needs sorting out.
