Hi Guys- Pompey fan in peace Wish Michael Brown all the best at your club, however just to warn you he became very disliked at Portsmouth FC, and was regularly dropped from the first XI. He is becoming very clumsy and picking up far too many cards due to his lack of speed, so tripping them up is becoming a bad habit. As for refusing to play for us as he wanted a new contract- resulting in a pay rise to £25,000 a week pay rise; in the Championship that kind of many is outrageous. All our other players took pay- cuts except him... Apart from 1 or two performances last season, the rest were pretty average or poor. At 35- everyone on our boards agrees we are glad to see the back of him, along with Richard Hughes, also released. On a free transfer, I applaud you guys for finding such a good purchase. Once again I wish you all the best for the coming season and our matches together... hope Michael gets on better with your fans than ours, reading this thread you guys seem to like him
Billboy.... We all need to give him a chance and if he sits in front of the back four and gives us some protection...he will do for me... We were all crying out for an experienced DM in January.....
