It’ll recover. These things always do. I’m guessing you’re pension in linked to the FTSE 250 or some such similar index?

I will probably defer taking my pension out at the moment
Still a lot of life left in me and I dont need the money (yet anyway)
When I took out my first pension I was only 18 year old and 60 seemed a long long time away
Now with my 60th birthday coming upon July I have to make the decision whether to take it or leave it for another 5 or 10 year

Looking at my personal shares now and they have gone down by 12 US dollars a share
Times that by 800 shares <yikes><yikes>

Best not to look at the moment :emoticon-0184-tmi:

I'm near my pension preferred age (60)
I do have the option to extend it
My Financial Advisor has told me I dont need to take it and can let it ride
But it must be a worry for those that dont have that option

I retired last June, turned 60 in September. Haven’t touched it yet, Mrs. Sombrero is still working. Whatever will be, will be, just got to ride the storm out. Not worried at the moment.

Corona virus has ****ed it, need to wait for the effects of that on the markets to pass first, then you buy the ones that fell the most.
