Re. Perez, I get the feeling he is not sure where he should be playing. He gets asked to play different positions quite a bit or is dropped to the bench occasionaly. I dont know where he should play. He hasnt impressed me for quite a while to be honest. I think this league might be to physical for him most games.

 

Perez looked a lot sharper last night from what I could see last night.

Best cross of the night, an absolute corker that unfortunately Gayle handled into the net.
Had it been his head, people would have been purring over the ball Perez put in.

Through ball of the night in the second half, could and maybe should of resulted in a goal.
Found space, a clever ball in.

Okay, he may not be playing to his own expectations just yet, but FFS give him a break.
Seems easier to pick up on the negatives, than look at the good points, but, then again that seems par for the course.

 

I think you are right and we should keep playing him. Selection dilemma when Mitovic is back though.

 

I get feeling he is a proper fanny who dicks around but isn't quite as good as some think...
