Hi, Just a note really, I have unstuck several of the threads, anything that hadn't been commented on for a couple of days, in response to a couple messages about them blocking the first page, especially for phone users. More than happy to stick active threads etc, but better for the forum to not have a load of them up there whilst not active. Anything you want as a sticky happy to do, but will keep an eye on them and if not needed, will be removed (can of course be re stuck as and when active...) Just that.
While i totally understand the reason for unsticking a thread that isn't being used i don't understand the phone user bit. I use my phone and it doesnt clog my screen up one bit. Might depend on what phone you use like. Anyway there were too many stickies and it does look tidier now
Thats all they need mate. as you know i keep bumping the last poster thread, cos its my favourite thread.. It soon goes down the pages if no one else posts.... Hold on, wheres me favourite thread gone again..
Surely the purpose of stickies is to keep threads at the top, that are important whether they have been commented on or not. e.g. site rules. Whether a thread is active or not should have no relevance in it being stickied or not. If a thread is actively being commented on, then it would be towards the top already, and wouldn't need to be a sticky.
