This chart is far too good to waste on the season progress thread. what has klopp achieved so far: 1. topped europa group by being unbeaten and winning a game. Rodgers was headed for tossing the comp away 2. Progress to semi final of League cuup 3. EXACTLY the same number of point in same number of games as rodgers acheived. 4. We are not getting 4th cos we are 7 points off the pace already and getting that back will require winning 8 in a row and nobody in the entire league looks capable of doing that. What does this tell me? 1. It is indeed a real pity rodgers was not sacking in may for klopp but klopp was not available then.. according to him. Its a pity he had not a preseason with the players 2. Its not just the manager and not just benteke either the team just is what it is. Theres a lot of guys who make this happen. 3. There are no messiah moments or miracles. all we can do is work hard and strive to improve. no secrets to offer from klopp, just blood sweat and tears.. like winston churchill speech in 1940. LFc will only acheive through hard work and time so its important fans get postive and row i nbehind a manager who we can back like nobody since rafa arrived.
Rodgers had more players available. He had Ings ffs who had been out best striker this season in his few outings. Klopp has had Studge for what, 2 games? Other than that we've been without a quality striker. He had Gomey as well in defence plus a fully fit Sakho. Rodgers games were, by and large, against easier opposition, laced with a lot of luck. 3 seperate times we had linesman rule in our favour over a goal that was obviously wrong. What's more if you look at the blocks... Under Rodgers they were getting worse. Under Klopp we are getting better. No contest Klopp is doing better.
We are only 5 points off 4th Mito, we are not in too bad a position with most teams around us coming to Anfield in the second half of the season. The Jan. window may see us strengthening the squad also
