To be honest he is just not on the same level as the players around him at the moment and it shows. He did get an assisst at weekend and if given enough time will probably get up to their speed of thought and passing, but right now he gets pulled off every game and replaced by Pedro which is not helping him and pissing off Pedro.
I'd give the chinchilla a go over the hamster personally. He'd sort us the **** out, sort us the **** right out. All whilst rolling around in a goldfish bowl full of sand the tricksy little ****.
When was the last time we were actually 'in for' and won the battle for a world class player?? It's got to be fecking centuries ago, those were both good young, still developing players capable of pushing onto the world class level, which they did at Anfield and then were promptly sold. Some pundit on talkshite tonight suggested it was Stan 'mong' Collymore. It can't be that bad surely??
Not while I've been a fan - so early mid-nineties. Our best players have been through our academy, up and coming guys we've made quality, and guys with a screw loose somewhere who we've got a tune out of.
That's like that saying about giving enough monkeys enough typewriters and eventually they'll produce the entire works of shakespeare How much money have we got left and how much are hamsters these days?? (NB I'd still prefer chinchillas)
He's the new director of football. If Markovic is like one of those 'pull back and go' cars, hopefully he can point him in the right direction and not have him end up in a coma
I would say we have about 30-40 million to spend in January, and a hamster second hand is about £5. Running costs for a hamster (presuming it is self-sufficient which it would need to be) I would say on average is £5 a week plus a cage at say £70, no wages though, giving you a total cost of £330 for the first year, plus £5 purchase cost = £335 Rodgers requires no cage but earns an estimated £38,461.54 a week totalling at £2 million a year. So there is a potential saving to be had with recruiting a hamster of £1,999,665.08 which could interest FSG as they look to continue to slash the wage bill. The unique selling point of the hamster is that it doesn't actually talk
Plus hamsters in hamster balls are a potential renewable energy source and offer a new form of training.
This is true No endless waffling about courage, commitment and how world class Stevie is. The hamster would just get on with it.
I'm more interested in how we should pack Rodgers into a small small box and ship him to Outer *****lia
With the way the league is going a new manager would have a chance to buy well in Jan and look to get fourth. Of Rodgers stays we'll not improve. Someone would be a good replacement IMO.
I'm sorry but your plan fails the strategic intent. Second hand? No we need to by baby hamsters and then train them up on how to use the wheel over 3 years
what was it that was said? 5 yr plan or something and there will be ups and downs, well if this is as far as the down side of things go brendan will be given time i reckon, but if the situation gets worst league wise who knows if the owners will pull the trigger, they are even more of a novice at top level than our manager. trouble then is will the owners back the new manager if we go down that route with cash after what has happened, and if not who wants to work with what we have out there, i can only see rafa then as he loves the club, doubt others will be so willing. anyone see a similar thing to what utd done? ie get rid and get someone who knows the club in until end of season and try and save what little may be left by then? Carra or stevie maybe, or not work.
