    100% Yes.

Henderson and Wilshere fill me with a lot of confidence for the future England midfield.

Yes, plenty. He is also strong, quick and has very good technique. Also, he has very good leadership qualities. Dalglish made a great spot with Henderson.

  3. No way would I sell Henderson. Good young player who wears his heart on his sleeve! Even if he's not first choice he would make for a very good squad player.

Ok fair enough. I agree that he has technique and, to an extent, leadership. But I think he is thick and doesn't see as many options open to him going forward as he should - I think he is quite blinkered as a player. Interesting that in the summer BR was also willing to let him go quite easily in part-purchase for Dempsey, a 6million£ player...

    We have:

    Coutinho: 20 (Definitely shouldn't sell),
Henderson: 22 (Don't think we should sell),
    Coates: 22 (Probably should sell),
    Allen: 22 (Shouldn't sell),
Borini: 21 (Hard to tell, hasn't had a proper go at it yet),
    Sterling: 18 (No.),
Shelvey: 21 (Good squad player, don't sell),
    Kelly: 22 (Definitely shouldn't sell),
    Wisdom: 19 (Definitely shouldn't sell).

These are the first team players under the age of 23, who have anywhere from 3-10 years to reach their optimum level. There is very little room to buy 4-6 players without offloading some older players (in which case we'd have to buy some established seniors for experience), or getting rid of some young players (of which we have a lot of quality).

We could fit in a couple of players, possibly getting rid of some deadwood.

I also disagree with you red, I've seen some wonderful through balls that he has pulled off and great one touch passes. I understand your frustrations with him but I've seen Suarez make the wrong decision/pass many times also. He also has a good engine on him. <ok>

Henderson's composure has improved a lot to, and he plays calmer. I remember him totally loosing his head in the Carling Cup final.

I reckon Sir_Red is actually Jordan Henderson and that he wants to be complimented.

here's the thing... i i gave you unlimited city style fund who would you really keep.

i think in reality we can only get a few players in so i'd really be looking for mentality here. winners not bottlers.

for that reason alone i'd be singling out downing, shelvey, coates, carroll and a couple others who can happily go as they are a dime a dozen. We need winners to join us to make us step up.

basically what makes suarez great is not the odd free kick or nutmeg is the work ethic and desire to be the best. I actually doubt that shelvey as very much less ability than suarez but he's not got the brain that sin that south american noggin that both infuriates and pleases depending on your team.

LFC can't keep panicking in the second half when goals have not gone in and they can;t keep chasing games and losing shape.. or worse letting 2 in when you concede one. we need winners to either want to be on the ball when things are going wrong or to settle things down.... there is a reason why rodgers dumped skertl and it is not about communication alone. its about bottle. carragher digs in, he messed up v zenit early but was still there at the end battling.

  17. Put a slight twist on that and say that those funds will only be there for a couple of years so you need to buy players under 23 years old and build for the future.

Who would you keep and who would you buy to replace the ones you get rid off...?
