without a doubt, he has all the tools. I'll stick my neck out and say he'll end up at a PL club.Could a top class coach add to Stewarts game
Lets hope its us.without a doubt, he has all the tools. I'll stick my neck out and say he'll end up at a PL club.
Spot onLet's hope we as a club have completely changed our philosophy regarding offers for our players. No more taking the first sniff of cash that comes along, we need to convince players and fans alike that we're building for the future, and get our players tied down to good long contracts.
I'm sure under KLD we're heading that way, but I'll be happier when Donald And Charlie are gone.
I am not suggesting he is a bad coach but there is better.Think Lee Johnson is a top coach. It’s his tactics I question (but not lately).
You only have to look at what he did for / with Wyke.
Embleton and Pritchard are third division players anarl.Nope. We are the best he will ever get. He may as well sign a 6yr deal and just crack on scoring goals for the lads. Him and Dan Neil won't get any better imo.![]()
Hoffmann and Doyle tooEmbleton and Pritchard are third division players anarl.
Get Quinny back to the club to teach the lad a few of his tricks.
I was amazed how good Quinny was with his feet. That chip against Port Vale(?) when he turned away celebrating whilst the ball still in the air waswish we could, when SNQ first came to us i saw him as a bit of an 'ok with his head but nowt else' type of player (we did not really have the benefit of constant top league football on tv or the multi-angle cameras) as usually we all saw him head a ball home on MOTD, but the way he could find space in a crowded penalty area was magic, he also showed just how good he was with the ball at his feet and, as many have said, if he was a brazilian they would still be harping on about some of his goals.
ross stewart reminds me of SNQ a lot, mainly that cheshire cat grin when he scores...his timing is damn good, he can use either foot as well as his head so there is very little he needs to learn, pretty much 'refining' what he does now.
Piece of brillianceI was amazed how good Quinny was with his feet. That chip against Port Vale(?) when he turned away celebrating whilst the ball still in the air was![]()
