I know that everyone thinks that the stewards are there just to spoil everyone fun but anyone in the Dell Cafe before yesterdays game will tell you that we have some stewards to be proud of. An unfortunate older gentleman collapsed suddenly and you could tell from his companions that he was gone- I think it was a heart attack. Almost immediately there was a lady supporter and a young female steward who got right in and started CPR, more stewards were quickly there clearing the area . There was no panic and although they were moving supporters back and moving furniture to make room for more first aid help, it was done in a way that got all us customers onboard.
We could see the guy was breathing when he was taken out to the ambulance , alive thanks to the quick actions of SFC stewards and the lady customer who helped.
