We can't talk about plans like that on here whitejock, too many Millwall around to find out thats what we did when Moro scored a couple
Durham it was us who sold him to Norwich agent Morrow then dropped a few hints there were a couple of lads @ Leeds worth taking a look at
He did last year - scored 4 v Morison's 3 - Played twice as many games mind. Varney will be your top scorer this year - I reckon he'll double last seasons return
Jonny at that rate Paddy Kenny wont be too far behind In fact come to think of it the corner flag wont be too far behind either
Morning all. Decent game overall last night, albeit against a tired opposition who ran out of steam in the 2nd half. Fans were in good form threatening to invade the pitch if brown scored or if Varney scored his penalty. Some stewards looked a tad concerned as the third goal went in. Heyho, the cuties stewarding our end just smiled at all the lads & they stayed in their seats. One thing ast night confirmed, Brown will start regularly or at least be the first name on the bench if BMD feels he needs a break. The other thing it confirmed, Norris has little future, as does Tonge, but White is laying down a marker as our pacey LW if BMD can't bring in a genuine winger.
I fail to see the benefit of playing outfits like Stevenage. Unlikely to learn much against such poor opposition. Problem with trying to make White into a winger is his final ball is crap. Unless mcd can sort that he won't work as a winger I'm afraid. Is glass half full still Boggers
Where do you think Browns going to start? Its going to be Green at the base, McCormack/White in the hole with Austin (after his two match suspension) and Murphy IMO
Eire, I think you may have missed White's contribution last night. His final ball was much better than it has been. As to why play sides like Stevenage. Its about building up fitness levels, building up confidence, & developing a new playing style - more footy, less hoofball. Bucks, I think after last night, Brown will either start at the base of the diamond, or come on to replace maybe Green or whoever else starts at the base of the diamond.
Chaps, I think you might be making a mistake in assuming that we'll be playing a diamond. By all accounts we've been crap when trying to play that way. Last night, we were awfull until we switched to 4-4-1-1 late in the game to liven things up & score goals. I don't think that it's safe to assume we'll be using this formation based on performances to date!
