Fair call GH, We all concerned for Ledley. Many of our fans have major doubts about the long viability of him. A lot have also voiced their worries about whether Dawson is the right one to assume his place.
I have no worries about Dawson myself PL, but I know others have. To me Kab and Daws is now our best option at CB, let's see what Harry thinks on Sunday
the trouble i have with Daws is he never has two games the same,it seem's to be hit & miss with him, maybe it's a lack of concentration at times
HI PC, I'm afraid you are misinformed on this. Cup tickets often go on GS, especially as after the two 'free games' STs have to buy their own tickets, should they wish to attend. To sell out so fast on the first day of GS against a League One team for a televised Cup match is a magnificent testament to our fans' loyalty, so soon after losing to Arsenal. Most clubs in the country couldn't match that response.
Fair comments TF, but to me I'd play him v Utd, no danger. Unless it's proved 100% King is 'really fit' I don't want any passengers v Utd. On Sunday, Walker, King, VDV, Sandro and BAE were all injury/fitness concerns, and it showed big-time. Arsenal looked far fitter and faster than us.
Where on earth is Gallas. I thought him and Sandro had similar injuries, but I've not even heard of him returning to training?
I'd go with: Cudicini; Kaboul, Dawson, Nelsen, Rose; Dos Santos, Kranjcar, Sandro, Lennon; Saha, Defoe. The Brazilian started for Brazil in their narrow win over Bosnia, playing nearly an hour, so he should be ok. Kranjcar's work rate has looked ok to me in his recent performances for us, even though he's not much cop defensively. Stevenage tend to avoid the midfield anyway, so it might not be an issue. Kaboul at right-back offers us extra height an aerial power and he should lessen the impact of not playing Walker.
From the OS: Back to senior action, and Sandro started and played the full 90 minutes as Brazil found a late winner to beat Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1 in last night's friendly in Switzerland. tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs/News/international-round-up-280212.page? I had a check and of course the OS is wrong again
Nice to see the youngsters doing well though, YV. Goals for Kane, Caulker and McEvoy, who's not a clone of Gareth Bale in any way. please log in to view this image
Cup fever at Stevenage Apparently people were queuing through the night for their remaining tickets http://www.stevenagefc.com/page/LatestNewsDetail/0,,10839~2630776,00.html?
Am I missing something? Why do people keep saying this is televised on ITV? I can't see that it's televised anywhere.
