irdan personally i think the johnson rumour is someone getting the wrong end of the stick. its davies we're after. i wouldn't be at all surprised to see johnson end up at villa with lambert - he's a big fan of his. as munky says, he's a very good defender but last season was a total disaster. it depends on how that has affected him really. arsenal and spurs were vying for his signature less than 12 months ago - its the baggage that comes with him that would make me nervous rather than his ability

Supers, isn't it actually Johnson's mrs who was a bit of a mare at Wolves? Taking to twitter to vent her frustrations? I'd be more than happy with Davies or Johnson to be honest - I think we need a quality and experienced CB to compliment Bennett and Ayala.
i don't think she helped matters but i'm not sure you can blame her for her husband turning up intoxicated for training. i think davies is the better bet and i think he's the one we are trying to sign
