Norfolkbhoy is spot on. Id suggest at least 2 more marque signings -DM (Biglia/Defour) and CAM(van Ginkel) to go along with a LB(?), LW (Redmond?), CB (Davies?) and CF (Hooper)

These signings along with RVW would make us a very strong squad compared to those who were around us at the end of this season. Any additional signings would be a bonus (e.g. Bridcutt etc)

The rumour that we are interested came from a very dubious twitter account - there is no serious indication that we're looking at him! He's previously been linked with Manchester United, and I believe PSG/Liverpool. I know we said the same about RvW but Defour is truly a different class.

The other player you mentioned was actually a seperate deal, it just happened to be in the same window, and was for Eliaquim Mangala. He will be a very good player, and has also been linked with Manchester United.

I wouldn't be surprised if we've had a look, but I would be very surprised if we could get him for less than £12m - and I imagine he'll want Champions League football.

I think his top priorities would be to sign Hooper and maybe another striker, two tall pacy and powerful wingers and probably another central midfielder

What's this? "two tall pacy and powerful wingers" says Carrabuh. I thought you said tall players can't pass. For me, the priorities will be one striker to replace Jackson, a CAM to replace Fox, a LB to replace Tierney, and a CB to replace Barnett. There may be others, but those will be the priorities, IMO.

    I said his top priorities.

Not mine, I'd go the opposite

My apologies, Carrabuh, I should have read it more carefully! Have you any players in mind for your choices?
