I'd like to echo those sentiments, Relayer.
A great servant to the club and he seems like a nice guy whose kept a genuine interest in the game going.

Hope he makes a swift and full recovery. <ok>

Was my hero as a kid... More than hidden, ossie, villa and co. which says a lot about him. Was lucky enough to meet him once at a book signing with my kids. Chatted to us for ages and signed my 81 shirt.... True gent...

It was a bad start to my day today to hear of Perryman's illness. One of my favourite Spurs players of all time. I gather he has had health problems recently, and before this current scare. I wish him well for a speedy and full recovery. He truly is a Spurs legend.

Perryman's official site has a similar message:

STEVE PERRYMAN UPDATE
Posted 17th May, 2.25pm

Steve had his most successful day so far on Wednesday.
While he remains in intensive care there has been a significant improvement in his condition.
The site will be updated with any further developments on Steve’s health.

Very good news, so far. <ok>

To be in intensive care for this length of time means Perryman must have been/still is, desperately ill. Thankfully, we are now hearing positive news and although this is a small step, let's hope Steve continues to progress.
