Hugill and Uche for a start.
.

Hugill will likely be wanted by Norwich if relegated. His wages in any event would be high.

Uche is an impact player - Morison explained why he doesn’t start games post match last night. Quite simply he doesn’t hold the ball up.

So a useful squad player who is popular and who’d be relatively cheap but City need a proven marksman.

ps Anyone know the ratio of minutes per goal for him and for Collins; each I believe with 3.

According to BBC data;

Collins 507 mins per goal.

Uche 36 mins per goal

Moore was on 322

Hugill 308

Watters 175

Best goal conversation rate (excluding Marley Watkins and Josh Murphy who both have 100%) is Uche at 50% followed by Mark Harris at 36%.

Hope this is the first good news under Morison's tenure.................

I hope there will be quite a bit of activity tying the tyros to us.
I trust there will be dialogue with premier league teams about youngsters on loan and discussions with (soon to be) free agents starting in the background as well.
Morison going to be a busy boy now his contract has been extended.

Welsh manager, Wales internationals, players coming through the academy. All Tan's dreams coming true.
Better late than never.<cheers>

Only took a rookie manager to make it happen.:emoticon-0105-wink:
I trust Tan has learned from his mistakes, the wasted millions, the 'old head' managers, the dud signings.<doh>

Abbadanota on Vaulks- he agrees his passing must improve, a walking yellow card and is capable of scoring goals.

Well we know he can’t pass, he’s a yellow card liability and he hasn’t scored all season.

So surely that’s enough to justify sending him on his way <doh>

I honestly think that given more time, Vaulks could become a decent player for us in our new system, certainly I've seen glimpses of it.

However, I'd never really considered that as the article states, it may end up being a choice between Vaulks and Ralls.... In that event then it's a no brainer really.

Smithies - Keep... (Wages depending)
Browne - Let go
Flint - keep (personally I'd keep him over Mozza now sadly)
Mozza - Let go, unless we get him completely fit. Then it's a straight choice between him and Flinty.
Bacuna - Should be gone already.
Murphy - sadly let go... So frustrating.
Vassell - Sadly never really been with us
Vaulks - I'd keep
Ralls - Keep
Pack - Let go... Just too slow nowadays

Here’s Glens views on the loanees (I know there’s a loan player thread but thought apt to post it here for feedback).

The conundrum of the central defenders is more perplexed if you add in Connelly and Denham. This may help Morison decide on whether to retain Morrison or Flint or both and maybe ship out Nelson.

On central midfield, Sang must be a consideration for inclusion on the first team squad if Bacuna, Pack and Vaulks go.

Connolly, in particular, is doing very well at the Gas and must be in line for elevation to our first team squad.

I like the fact he has thanked the players for getting him a contract extension.

Shows a level of humility and understanding that perhaps the press overlooked when they were all so keen to jump on him for calling out players who performed poorly.

Looks like he may be trying to look after Captain Mozza too.... Nice touch but will it turn out to be a good call???

I am genuinely excited now to see what he does in the summer..... :emoticon-0142-happy
