Snodgrass ability to cross the ball was woeful. Most time he hit the first defender. Eddie gray never had pace.
But then that's only if you insist White's a winger. For me he's always done well at left back and shouldn't be forced into an unnatural position just because he has pace.
So I think we're agreed that all FB's should be top quality at every skill in football, or is that if you just don't like them?
I want to like White, he's a local lad and he does try, but he just looks like a headless chicken. He never seems sure of where he is, he runs down blind alleys all too often and has absolutely no final product. Add to that that he's not all that good defensively and it makes you wonder if people really would've been that fussed if he'd been released in summer if he wasn't an academy product.
I don't get people saying he's not great defensively. There was only one full back getting beaten yesterday and it was Byram.
Had Bristol City played a competent right winger (Adomah?!) I daresay it would've changed matters. I'd rather have White at LB than Peltier, but I'd much rather have Drury than both of them. And if playing White at LB means keeping him away from LW and god forbid, RW , so be it
