Without your support where would Bristol City be? Due to lack of the web in those days I missed all of that news and didn't hear about it for many years later.

Me and my mates didn't - we got to Highbury a few minutes late and ended up in the middle of the North Bank being VERY, VERY quiet!!!

A little harsh Mike considering SL has put probably £60m+ into the club by the time the ground is finished

fantastic support for a club basically in div 1 / lower half of Championship for most of the time ... @1% interest on his fortune that would be about 5 years worth! if I donated 1% of my interest it would probably pay the cleaners salary for a month or so .....................

In fact, when you give it a bit more thought, SL is probably over the £100m mark bearing in mind the stadium cost and the £12m and £18m losses in the last few years alone.

STEVE L many years ago started a company that was self preservation for the future, for him and for others... when you talk of prudence, a pension and life cover are guarantee's to a degree of a strong base for later life.
it seems the basis of BCFC is at the moment fitting this criteria.. pay "monthly what you can afford" no good having a £400 a month pension, and £100 a month life insurance if each month your total income is exceeded by £xxx .. you get into debt which ultimately costs more and you lose out on your pension /life cover and all the other nasties it can suck in ...SL IS probably a little to advanced in his ways and years to readily change .. the safe route, slow and steady ...
