It looks like it could be a very good appointment.
Aye it's not like he's just paying lip service to saying all the right things, he clearly means what he says as a very well respected businessman and lifelong Sunderland fan.
The lack of engagement between the club and the fans has been one of the saddest aspects of our decline and he's determined to completely turn that around.
He certainly is saying the right things and there's early movement on delivering and reconnecting, so far, so good.
