What a great article. Just my opinion, of course. Although some on here will disagree, and throw up into their bowls of cornflakes. Such are the vagaries of being a biased football supporter.
Lots of them around.
Cooper has been described on this forum as being an "embarrassment ", but Forest fans' would doubtless argue that the word should precede two other words, viz, " of riches ".
After the season they have had, ( are still having ), who could dispute that ?
Ex Cardiff player, Nathan Blake, summed it up nicely ---
" It's difficult to know why he's not more loved by Swansea fans'. With the budget he had and the players he had, he was a master at being able to get results. "
Well said, Mr. Blake. I think your words carry much more weight than the one eyed football fan.
Cooper has taken his charges to the play off Final for the third successive season. Oh how embarrassing for the poor chap.
I hope it's third time lucky for him. He deserves it. It will be interesting to see how he fares at the top table.
I've got a few spare boxes of cornflakes, should any of my readers need to refill their bowl.
The Premier League "bright lights " attract many Managers, and not just from Swansea. Who can blame them for wanting to better themselves, in different ways. I changed jobs when it suited me, gaining advancement every time. It's what people do. Why should there be special expectatiins of football managers, and players?

It’s longer than a bloody marriageBecause there is special expectation of managers and players by the fans. You don't think like this but others do, wrongly or rightly.
That's what being a fan is all about - the commitment, the passion, the anticipation. Most fans support the club through thick and thin and at some personal expense, both monetary and emotional, and demand a decent amount of commitment back from those they support.
Yes, the vast majority of wages doesn't literally come from the fans but without any fan base the club won't last long. Shouldn't the fans expect something back for their life long personal investment? Think of it more like a marriage![]()

One’s enoughYes but at least it's your favourite Wife![]()

ObviouslyNottingham Forest had 1 point from 7 games were bottom and beaten by the worst Cardiff Team ive seen in about 20 years.
Forget Klopp , Pep he should be manager of the year.
Hes obviously a brilliant young manager.
