Just come to say congratulations on signing Steve Clarke, he's a top coach who can hopefully make it as a manager too. However, since there doesn't seem to be any WBA fans on this site, what a waste of ****ing time this is <doh>

PS - Hodgson and then Clarke...? You guys got something funny about our ex-managers...? <whistle>

Big risk for a club that are looking to stick in the Premier League after many seasons of going up and down. They sold Di Matteo when it wasn't going well, and they are usually very patient, this was the first sign of lacking trust in a manager when things go wrong. I hope he does well but don't think he will be there long if they don't get off to a good start.

Steve Clarke lived across the street from my dad years back - thoroughly decent man. West Brom had an easy game to kick the season off with but that's still a very good start. Here's hoping he keeps it up against more challenging clubs.

Well... he seems to be doing okay. I think most Baggies would have settled for being a couple of places above West Ham at the start of the season. ;)
