While we are at it, can you post an article about the following:- Cahill's tackle on Aluko Barry putting Aluko out for 3-4 months Besic snapping Robertson in half putting him out for a month Guthrie's tackle on ***an Oh we might as well got back to when Owen injured Neill Mann. Figueroa toe poked the ball, his leg came down on the back of Ireland's leg because he overstretched, not much malice.
For me it just looked like he stomped down a little, eyes on Ireland. An experienced player like Figueroa knows how to clear a ball without catching the man like that. It's genuinely a 50/50 split of opinion on this one. You can't say one persons opinion is wrong, all you can do is explain why yours is right. Also as far as I'm aware Hull have been unlucky with injuries this season. Am I right in saying that Davies, Chester and Dawson were all out at some point?
Diame, Snodgrass, Chester, Dawson, Jelavic, Rosenior, all three keepers been injured at one point, Hernandez and Aluko to name a few.
Figueroa needed five stitches in a gash in his ankle from a separate incident on Saturday, he just didn't feel the need to tweet pictures of it.
****ing pointless, you are right, ****ing pointless. But in the spirit of debate. It was not a tackle, it was a collision between a player who had already played the ball and one who never had the ball but got in the way. SIMPLE.
I never said it was a tackle, it was a 50/50 challenge. And I don't think he did need 5 stitches in all honesty. I think that's a desperate attempt from Bruce to defend Maynor
Your knowledge of Steve Bruce is obviously as good as your knowledge of the English language. ****ing clown shoe.
I just saw it for the first time and sorry but there's no way that is intentional. Let's face it Figueroa isn't the most precise of footballers, he would probably have missed ireland completely trying to intentionally hurt him. This looks like his normal clumsy self. Nothing malicious.
Penalty King, why are you here trying to be friendly and look knowledgable? You're a ****, a **** writer, a thick ****, we all know it, you know we all know it. Why don't you just cut your losses and **** off, you simpering buffoon.
Did this guy write that article??? thought it was an 11 year old... **** me have you ever heard of proofreading?
It was not a 50/50 challenge Ireland made no attempt to play the ball, because it had already gone past him. He turned his back on a player who had played the ball and had forward motion.
Reminds me of the challenge on Deano against Palace in 2008. But we didn't even get a free-kick and instead of rolling around on the ground, Windass hobbled halfway across the pitch just to argue with the ref. But he calmed down, got patched up and fired us to the Premier League a few weeks later. Edit: And I did think there was more malice in the one on Dean.
