Having said I could do no worse with the current squad than Bruce I'd like to retract this statement and assure everyone I would indeed be able to do better than what is currently being served up.

Honestly if it isn't clear to see what the issue is here you're blind - 4 in the midfield vs 2 teams who play 5 across the middle means we will always be outnumbered in the "battlefield" of midfield and attack yet always overloaded in defence and still at risk of conceding. It is simple tactics, it's so simple, simple is not enough to describe it.
If anyone has any pull at the club beg them to get me one week working with those players. I'd get an note or two out of them. I'd do it for free and work with Bruce so Ashley hasn't got to pay Bruce off.

Think he means he's astonished that Bruce is given that much time to turn it around.

So you call in on Steve in his office and he’s playing football manager 2002 and he’s employed at Barcelona. Bruce is hands down the worst manager we've ever had. Souness was a different era so almost excusable, but 20 years of tactical evolution and Bruce is somehow still worse than him. Carver was woefully out of his depth, but that was barely his fault. Nothing is as bad as I'm now watching, and nothing is more baffling than Ashley choosing to carry on.
Joelinto walked around the pitch. Inexcusable. But what was worse was Bruce allowing it.

Someone needs to explain what difference a month could make. Apart from making us less attractive to the tiny handful of managers who might be able to rescue us.
Bruce's do full of **** and excuses and it'll get him another month.. He's now down to blaming the confidence of the players. M he's rapidly running out of his bullshit excuses, but Ashley and Charnley are so thick that they will be fooled very easily by Bruce. They'll actually admire how arrogant he is.
