It is staggering how he is allowed to get away with some of the ****e he spouts. **** off patronising us you ****. I really hope we lose the next five games so that I don't have to listen to him for any longer than necessary.

As for Lee Charnley - he employed this useless **** as well as McClaren. How the **** does he still have a job?

Of course people thought he shouldn't be in the job from day 1, he's proven everyone that said that from the outset 100% spot on now. What he fails to realise and admit is that many of those same people (I count myself in that bracket) will have been more than prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Time to take the high ground and do the honourable thing and walk away but he won't. Like someone has already said on this board, he ain't gonna land another top job anytime soon so he'll need the pay off. Walking or getting sacked still looks the same on your CV pal, you ****ing failed !!

It's incredibly frustrating when he says "I take responsibility, I picked the players and set the team up like that". Something he's done in nearly every game and it doesn't work, he seems to know it doesn't work, he knows he's at fault yet its still the same old crap every single game!

The BBC piece is absolutely laughable. Here's the content:

“[The criticism] has been personal from day one - certain people out there think I shouldn't have been in the job to start with. All I can do is accept it and try not to be too down with it.”

“I understand the supporters’ frustration and anger - I would be the same way, But I keep stressing if you're in the bottom half of the Premier League, you have to be a bit pragmatic. Now, getting that balance right, I fully, fully understand.

“Have Newcastle been a good watch for years? We’ve been in the bottom half of the Premier League. Now we're not saying it's acceptable, but it's the way it is. So we have to have a certain way of defending well, but I agree we have to offer more going forward.

“I expect the players to mirror myself a little bit. I was never blessed with wonderful ability, same as management, but the one thing I expect is a reaction, show some pride in yourself, and never be afraid of hard work. At the minute, it’s hard work, but you try not to get too down.

“We are not alone, if you're in bottom half there will be times when you come under pressure, and this is one of those times.”

Came on here to see the reaction. Basically playing the victim (again), admits he is **** and admits his remit is to continue being ****.

I mean where to begin. How can he think he somehow earned the right to go from struggling Sheff Weds, having had numerous sackings before that, to suddenly being charge of the 8th largest club in England? Not only that, but replacing Rafa Benitez in the process? How mentally deficient can anyone be?

The rest is just pathetic. Little jibe about how we've been **** for years - fine, but how does that excuse you from being no better? Why not tell us why your paymaster is so restrictive? Why not explain how you cannot get Joelinton, Almiron, ASM and Wilson to at least offer a semblance of attacking threat, or is £100m not enough? Then he calls out his entire squad as being as useful with a football as he was. He expects a reaction, but what's he doing about it? Hard work is a ****ing Graeme Souness comment, but then we all know what Brucey thinks of actual tactics.

Shambolic, but just another laughably predictable fail in Ashley's pathetic ownership. We should all just laugh at it now. Who next? Pulis? Shola? Can we dig up Ron Atkinson's corpse and reanimate it?

He's such a joke of a human being.

He's thrown the players under the bus whilst simultaneously saying he hasn't done anything in the last 18 months.

Complete and utter moron.

Bruce is actually incredibly arrogant... He never once seems to have thought it's him that needs to do things differently.. Its always this or that and then how tough he is thrown in.

He's obviously gone through 20 years as a manager in denial about his approach and has never learned.

I don't like his attitude when he's questioned either.. He's got quite an ego hasn't he

He needs to try listening and learning and maybe if he does that he can win a few games.
