Doing the job asked of him, just like the one before him.
Its been a hard watch over the last 5 years. Indeed over the last 15 years. Take that HBA, Cabaye etc spell out, we've been garbage to watch for 15 ****ing years. Who would have thought that as the excitement of Bobby's team came to an end, we'd be set for more than a decade of managers simply trying to stop the opposition. I used to think attacking football was in the DNA of this club, and I think that would be Ashley's true legacy for me. He has managed to erode the football principles the club has tried to maintain over many years. Its come and gone always but generally the desire has always been there from the fans and stewards of the club. We just seem to trudge along now in a zombie like survival mode.
I struggle to blame the likes of Bruce and Rafa. It all starts at the top.
I reckon the next manager who comes in here and excites the fans is going to be a demi-god such is the barren spell we've had.
The footballs crap, but is rather win ugly than lose playing pretty football.
The fans are so far into the Bruce hate argument that they're dragging up stats left right and centre to try and save face, but I'm sorry it's far better to just say "fair play he's doing very well and I was wrong".
They'll instead continue to hate on him and wait for something to go wrong because its actually all about them not losing an argument.
No dignity, it's embarrassing, it throws out food for the media who already hate the club because of them.
Time to stop digging it will only make the apology even harder.
To be fair to Bruce if he just admitted when he gets it wrong rather than blame every Tom dick and Harry then he would get more respect from me.
He takes the plaudits but not the Criticism.
He’s doing a reasonable job but this season there are two or three really crap teams. West Brom being one of them. So we are safe.
Warm Pouch is right what he says though. Our expectations now are so low that given we are mid table we are saying it’s been an awesome start to the season.
If the takeover does indeed go through then I would be tempted to give Bruce a crack at the whip. He has oddly earned that right. Let’s see what he can do with some real money.
Then we will know once and for all if he’s any good or not.

I think the message it would send by sacking him wouldn’t be good. He should at least get to the end of the season provided we don’t get sucked into the relegation battle. You guys are ****ing nuts. If get a takeover, why the **** would we restrict ourselves to watching Bruceball? I hope our new owners are not this ****ing backward
I say we buy all the best players and get the next Jurgen Klopp to manage them.

I didn’t say I wanted him I just think he’s earned the right to **** it up himself.
Do you honestly think that that’s the way the new owners would think??I think the message it would send by sacking him wouldn’t be good. He should at least get to the end of the season provided we don’t get sucked into the relegation battle.

He's doing very well.
Assuming a takeover occurs before the end of the season Bruce should stay until the end of the season and no longer. Not even a minute.
We should then get the best manager available who will play attacking football.
The only reason Brucie should stop is there will be a better chance of getting a top manager at the end of the season rather than half way through. I don’t care what message that gives. For those that do think the message is important then think of the message keeping Brucie would give to all the top players we should then be going after.
Possibly not but the fact he’s put enough points on the board has provided the platform for them to take over a premiership side.Do you honestly think that that’s the way the new owners would think??
So?Possibly not but the fact he’s put enough points on the board has provided the platform for them to take over a premiership side.
They'll give him a stay of execution until summer
he’s done nothing to deserve the boot but he’s ****ing stealing a living as long as he’s in charge.
the football is ****ing woeful and he’s sucking the life and creativity out of our better players.
they will move him upstairs quickly I hope
I think SB is thick. The only decent role for him really further along the line is as a coach driver.
