Charnley, but I suspect Ashley is the guy that would have to say get rid. Fulham and Brighton are much better than us and have been all season, but as we know we got 18 points from games we battered in... The table does lie because it was lieing and so were out results.
Wilder comes in and in not even going to watch on TV anymore... Not coming on here just done with it . Im done with the club and the sport... Ashley destroyed us and the premier league denied the club a great future. **** the sport just **** it
At the beginning of the season Fulham where piss poor. They acted in the January transfer market and loaned in some good players. This “action” improved on what they already had. They became more of a balanced team. Brighton have always had a good playing mentality but they just couldn’t seem to score. Your quite right in that we have been more or less garbage all season with the odd lucky win. The only two wins that I felt we came out on top and deserved the results where West Ham (look where they are now) and that Everton win (Which we can attribute to the Jones effect). The rest of the season it’s been sit back and get lucky. You can literally look at each match where we won or picked up a point and say we where either lucky or we went for it in the last 10 minutes.
Wilder is not the answer. The cheap option really is leaving Bruce being paid but gardening leave. Let Jones have a crack at getting results. He can’t do much worse.
Unbelievablely, and I can't believe I'm saying this, Bruce is far far worse than McClaren. I thought we had bottomed out manager-wise with McClaren. How ****ing wrong I was!! Bruce is a fat inebriated useless ****!
I'm going to disagree and say their results were piss poor. If you watched they were trying to play proper football, but were a soft touch and shipped goals.. It's actually a phase you have to go through to move fwd and newcastle have never had a manager with the brains or the balls to go through it. I agree about January they did what was required and it might see them through Fulham also used covid nicely to give their 1st team a nice rest when their u21s got covid .. None of their 1st team players were Affected.
First 10 games I think they lost most and won 1 which was against West Brom. They regularly got hammered but like you say they tried to play still. He made subtle changes then (the covid break) and then the transfer window and they steadily improved as the season progressed. Now they look a solid team. We have been lacking all season. Throwing a team together with no game plan. We do deserve to go down. We are bottom (or nearly) of all positive stats. And top of most negative stats. Against a relegation rival we had 1 shot on target and 12 touches in the penalty box in 90 minutes.
I genuinely don't understand why his name is being mentioned. Just got a team relegated from same league as us. Not overly convinced by Howe either. But if we do sack this spud I will beg Mike Ashley not to hire mark Hughes
It all started going wrong when we lost 5-2 to Leeds and then drew 1-1 with Fulham with them being down to 10 men for a good half an hour.
Fans are too desperate to get rid of bruce and have convinced themselves that wilder and Howe are good managers.. They're not
He should've gone after Sheff united, but he's not going to be sacked . Its getting boring listening to the bruce out stuff.. They need to get it into their thick skulls... He's going nowhere..
Desperate is correct. Bruce has to be as far away as possible. He is killing the team. Wilder nope. Not for me. Howe? Jury is out but he can’t be worse than Bruce.
He won’t be sacked. No. But he can’t continue as manager. And I’m assuming your stating I’m being thick??
Nufc fans great expectations are on show when you see them begging for chris wilder I'd argue their expectations are clearly far too ****ing low. And guess what Ashley will see that I think that's fine... I learned as a child to ask for I really wanted.. If you **** about you get ****e presents every year
“Meanwhile, the bench consisted of two angry strikers, the bloke who called the manager a coward, and a Longstaff who has been alienated alongside his little brother.”
Another encouraging show of support from my employer today. He's all that matters along with my loyalties. If the fans had loyalty to rival mine then he might have sided with them. Its good to see.
So quick to take the praise for the work he'd put into the side in his 1st win wasn't he? So quick to make it personal with the fans wasn't he? A year on he started saying it wasn't his way
