That's the thing, every time he plays he looks really good. He's calm on the ball, he probably wouldn't have assisted the goal at Blackburn and he's left-footed which Bruce isn't and it does affect his game playing on the left side of the 3. Bruce had a good game against Bolton, but I still think Cooper is better.
My point is that Cooper (IMO) is our third best centre back, and with us playing 3 at the back he wouldn't/shouldn't be bench warming here, especially as he's left footed and would fit comfortably in on the left of the 3.
