Steve Bruce did assemble a fair squad of players. We, and MON were very, very fortunate that his start was with a win in very wierd circumstances. The season turned with the goal that Blackburn had disallowed. We would have been 2 down and in a bit of a fix!!! Who knows what would have happened then. Never mind. It didn't.... and here we are today. SB not the sharpest tool in the shed and that's the difference.
