Or each week a sweepstake could be held on this forum. And the winners are delegated to climb up into the structure for each game , holding the banner. Home & Away
Have I got this right ? ....A group of you have contributed to this flag, designed it, arranged for it to be made, had it delivered then visited the stadium to consult with SMC staff/engineers as to how/where best to display it. And what you've come up with is 1 A flag that's got a limited shelf life ( Brucies reign ) 2 A flag that's not going to be seen for a large proportion of the time its displayed Keep up the good work !!! LOL
Based purely on that ^^^ post. I suspect you've recently progressed from slip ons to shoes with velcro fastenings. Lace ups are but a distant pipe dream. For what it's worth, unless you're imortal, even you have a limited shelf life. The banner will be visible for much longer than if it was passed over our heads, but in the event it turns out the current spot isn't adequate, we can always look at other spots. Similar facts to those you've tried to use, but with a touch of reality added. Good luck mastering the velcro.
A foot fetish alongside a flag fetish, an interesting combo.Allow me to introduce you to the "work smart not hard " concept....Site the flag in the correct place the 1st time.A design featuring "Hull City " should be relevant longer than "Bruce" dependant of course on the outcome of the name change fiasco
But that isn't what the democratic decision of the group was for this banner. A future banner may well be similar to what you suggest. As for deciding where it goes 1st time. Whose decision do you suggest that is? Surely discussing options to fit with other factors is the more sensible and productive approach? Insisting "I want that one" only really works on Little Britain.
I hope we see more similar banners around the KC Stadium. Also something more professional representing the fans and the club on the concourses. Example; On the East Stand concourse we have three huge prints of FC lining up at Wembley but none of Hull City???? Also one huge banner about FC paying a 'world record' fee of £800 for Billy Boston. Whilst the City banner is a childish reference to not being able to colour our name in.
The club asked if we wanted to put banners up in the concourse. It seems to be something that they'd like to progress. My personal view is that there needs to be some sort of co-ordinated theme, such as the images of club greats and fans favourites. If fans have an easy input, it creates a feeling of ownership and being part of the club. I think there have been a lot of really good suggestions. Once the dust has settled, it'd be good if we could talk to the club about expanding on some of them, especially if they can be combined with ideas on helping improve the atmosphere.
Dutch has done a great job with this, but unfortunately, the position of the banner was rather useless today. Once the ground filled up, you couldn't see what the picture was, nor could you read the bottom half of the text, we need a better long term solution.
Ignore Brady, he's a drunkard who thinks he's a better fan than everyone else. In a nutshell, a ****. ****ing ******. Almost as classy as 'Keep up the good work LOL'. Though amongst your school friends that probably is the most classy thing you'll hear or say.
